It's almost the end of 2019, but in Black Desert SEA, we're just getting started! With the New and Returning Adventurers event, and the Steam launch, you might be wondering, what else is there to do in BDO SEA? Endgame doesn't have to be all Nodewar and PVP. Here are the TOP 10 things to do as a a Lifeskiller (ahem), or anyone who's looking for something new (and enjoyable too).
HELP DECIDE WHICH HALLOWEEN DRESS:
1. Beauty Shop
Are you tired of your character's look? Seeing the same face stare back at you when you log on? Then time to visit the Beauty Shop! Short or Long hair? Plain Jane or Dashing Debonair? Mythical creature or awesome alien? The possibilties are endless! You can customize your character's features from the twinkle in their eyes, down to the hollowness of their cheeks.
(Press F4 to access the BEAUTY SHOP)
2. Crafting Clothes
One of the things only a few people have, other than that PEN accesory you've been failing at. These outfits can't be bought with pearls, it's even more rare to see it offered in the central market. Want to arch necks whenever you pass by Calpheon city storage? Or just simply don't want to look like the sea of AFK fishermen in Velia? Then crafted clothes is for you. These crafted clothes also give some stats like Amity and Movement speed. Functional crafted clothes give bonus exp and mastery on Lifeskills.

Players ask "why dye?" - I say, "why not?". If you really want to bring your BDO fashion war to the next level and stand out from the crowd, then your default colored Shudad armor just won't make the cut. The outfit costumes themselves already look good, but when everyone has it, then you're pretty much the same. With dyes you can make any armor look unique, the color combinations are endless. There are a a lot of ways to die in BDO, this is not one of them.

4. Exploration and Screen Shots
Black Desert is a vast world to say the least. From the beautiful forests of Grana in the west, to the daunting desert of Valencia to the east. From the ancient ruins of Duvencrune in the south, all the way across the ocean to cultural Port Ratt to the north. Travel on horseback, on a ship, or with the newly introduced air balloon and prepare yourself for the views! Exploration also provides knowledge which counts as energy experience. And while you're at it, take screenshots! Taking screens in BDO is not just simply pressing "Prt Sc", there is an art to screen shot photography. So when you retire to your house in Calpheon city, it will remind you of your adventures.

Housing is one of the things most players don't notice. But given enough time (and money), this can be very relaxing for you (and your character). Houses are all over the major cities and their outskirts (even in Muiquun for red players). Even if you dont plan on decorating just yet, housing can be functional, as Cooking and Alchemy lifeskills would require you to place tools inside a house.
(Grana 4 - 4 Storey Mansion)
6. Crafting Furniture
But Aurafyre, housing is for players who have a lot of pearls. Not quite. You see some furniture sets require you to spend pearls, but there are furniture that you can craft and buy from NPCs. With enough materials and Amity, you can have a house full of pearl-free furniture. If you have more time, or just don't want to spend pearls on furniture sets, then craft away!

7. Daily Quests and Story Quest
Daily quests are easy to do quests that you can do, wait for it... DAILY! They give some combat and skill exp, but more contibution point experience and some rare materials needed for lifekills (Training, Trading, etc). Story quests on the other hand are longer. You are free to pause, but when you're so deep in the story, don't you just want to find out where the adventure will take you?

8. In-game Events
Free stuff? Heck yeah! There's a ton of events in BDO that are both refreshing and rewarding. It can be as simple as in-game finding the GM and donkey racing, to the challenging Secret-Quest event or other seasonal events (has anyone seen the Black Pegasus? I haven't). All you need to do is participate, and everyone gets a reward. If anything the GMs give a free bell buff on all servers after a GM hosted event.
(GM Hosted Kamasylvia Tour in-game event)
9. Minigames and Black Spirit's Adventrure
Do we need a reason for more free stuff? BDO hosts seasonal events that come with minigames (see No. 8). These mini games give out tokens which can be exchanged for unique looking items, Ellie's Water festival with the water gun (Repairable matchlock), and Termian Festival swimsuit (sells for 140 pearls, got it for free), to name a few. Halloween and Christmas is just around the corner, I smell more minigames. The Black Spirit's Adventure is currently an ongoing minigame where you roll a dice every hour up to 5x a day, all landing spots have rewards, need I say I more?
(Black Spirit's Adventure)
Last but definitely not least is Lifeskilling. There are currently 10 Lifeskills available in Black Desert Online: Gathering, Fishing, Hunting, Cooking, Alchemy, Processing, Training, Trade, Farming, and Sailing. Either you want to be the "Mudfish Guru" or "The Best Cook", the choice is yours. All of which also have the potential to earn you more silver in-game the longer you do them, which in turn raises your mastery on that lifeskill. These can also be done while AFK. So for the busiest players out there, you can still earn silver.

1 of the BEST guides? Thank you all for the love! Detailed guide on each item coming up soon!
Agree with all the points in there, but I do have other things in mind on top 10 to do (or at least non combat to dos) in BDO:
1. Play songs like a bard (ok this is favouritism to my class) - It just gotta be Shai... or I guess you could try your luck with a rented flute?
2. Building a worker empire (I feel like I'm playing a Sims game when I manage my workers lol) - related to point 7 and 10, one can build your own economy and create a work empire around the map either for crafting, lifeskilling or simply to supply to the market. Don't forget to toast them with beers!
3. Jousting (this is something I did in the past in my old guild last year but I no longer have those screenshots): First you require 2 players (so one can go with a guildie or a friend) with a horse equipped with horse gear and has the skill charge. Both players will enter the arena in any city, and upon agreed signal or someone counting, charge at each other. The player who dismounts the other the most times win! Repair fees are at your own expense though (you have to pay to have your armor fixed after all!)
4. Knowledge, Conversations, Dating? Everyone knows that you need to have knowledge to converse with people. The more knowledge you have, the more topics you can talk to people. In some cases, one might try to date a npc!
Wow Amornica those are some good additions! This top 10 are the things I personally do and would like to share. However, there are more things to do in BDO! I'm open to everyone's ideas. We can make this a thread of non-combat/pve things to do in-game. Everyone is welcome to contribute!
Quite good stuff !
