Solution for Failed to init Auth. and Font Error!

Hello Guys,

 

After almost a week not having to play Black Desert Online and almost months of having that Font Error, my calvary ends today.... After tons of tickets and with solutions they say, they gave up and turn you to EAC support to fix it.... My tuvala armors still not pen and my Value Pack wasted for 1 week...

 

Anyone of you still waiting for Pearl Abyss to fix it. You are waiting in vain my friend... I found the only solution to the problem and i hope that it will help you too.

 

USE VPN..... ( i use australia location) after successfully running the VPN, try to launch your BDO client and wait to update. Then press PLAY! Boom! EAC successfully running and you can play now and without FONT ERROR!

 

Anyway thanks for blaming the gamers instead of fixing it GM Abun...

 

P.S. 

first of all check your anti virus program and put BDO folder on the exception list because some of the files in bin and bin64 are all FALSE POSITIVE and your anti virus program may block or quarantine it.

@Skungkong use Tunnel Bear bro, easy to use and its free.

1. Run the VPN (tunnel bear) click Australia.

2. Once it is successfully connected (VPN)

3. Launch your Black Desert Online Client and let it patch.

4. if successfully patch 100% close your VPN and hit that PLAY button like a mad man. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

 

(i close my vpn after successfully patching my client to use my own ip for smooth gameplay)

 

I think this is the new norm for us boys. USE VPN to patch the client before playing....

@Skungkong idk bro why it doesn't work for you because that will be your LAST option. I tried everything from reinstalling the whole game in clean boot, re-scan too many times in clean boot, even fix all my windows update, change anti virus, reset my modem, flush my dns  etc. etc.Nothing works untill GM Abun told me to report in EAC support because it's MY problem... and EAC support? forget it, it's outside Pearl Abyss anyway.

the only thing that comes in my mind is why do we need to use VPN to fix BDO problems from font/text error to EAC etc. It's the ONLY game in my pc list to be using VPN LMAO!
