The silence is deafening.

How one might sit and stare at a blank wall. Hardly a gust of wind nor chatter companionship

Oh how does the time pass??

time most intangible save for looking at it as a blade of leaf grows or the one that dries.

The leaf reveals a seedling and the colour is exists even as an one coat...

And with no one to tend to either..

No breath.

No view.

No feeling.

They are at the mercy of a being intangible but ever present to permit us not go mad by our own milling.

Madness,

Madness, held at bay with many things but here among this empty, unceasing chasm of quiet.
