I have an idea that maybe can be implemented in this game. So there's going to be a Revenant character, a Knight that comes back to life as an undead, the black spirit helps him to go on his journey to find out why he returns to life as an undead, discovers his miserable life.. pours his anger and power to the awakening weapon, as he discovers the story behind the huge Log that had tied him until death.. Powers will be more on Necromancy...Damage over Time...Life steal...Summoning...Slow spell... And a new zone that is always dark and creepy, with old abandoned villages and then a big dark castle beyond. This will be a special zone, since anyone who goes here except for a Revenant player will become an enemy. The Revenant can party with non-Revenant characters, but he will be considered as an enemy of the other Revenant players. Full Revenant party will still be considered as an ally when they will be in the zone, except if there is a non-revenant in the party. The Revenant players on this zone can grind also, they will eliminate NPC adventurers, like maybe the player character NPC (ex. witch, wizard, warrior..etc.) Automatically all Revenants here are allies not foe. Non-Revenant characters can explore here except that they will face Revenant players as enemies. But monsters here will have a good experience points, since its hard to get here if you are not in a party, specially if there are a lot of Revenants. By default encountering a Revenant player character in this zone, would summon skeletons right away to fight any adventurers who are in the zone, the Revenant have no control on the skeleton warriors, they will automatically attack non-revenant characters, the summoned skeletons can attack the NPC adventures also...the more Revenants, the more monsters will appear until a party is overwhelmed. Monsters here will not appear unless an adventurer encounters a Revenant character or triggers or step on buried dead monsters. Same with the Revenants in the zone, the NPC adventures appears randomly and can easily be spotted, since they will be carrying torches... Ones the party or character reaches the castle area, the Revenant player if there is one in the area, can not summon the skeletons anymore...
Revenants in the zone can have an option to fight a character or party or just let them go. Ones the non-Revenant character or party reaches the dark castle, There will be a Specters (NPC) they have to kill then loot for the treasure. So the objective here is to reach the castle encountering monsters and Revenant players along the way, then destroy all the Specters (NPC) and loot the treasures in the main Hall. There will be a world boss time, and on this time the world boss will be a Death king, who can summon Specters (NPC). Revenant players can gather before the event and try to stop anyone from reaching the castle.. Ones a Revenant player is killed, he can spawn again with a timer, same with the non-revenant characters. Ones the non-revenant characters reaches the castle, then they are safe since any remaining Revenant players in this area, ones killed will not be able to respawn and go back inside the castle, the Revenants respawns back outside the castle, so the non-Revenant characters can focus on killing the Death king. This game play is somewhat similar to Node War,. So when non-Revenant players are able to eliminate the Death king in a given time limit, they win and get rewards to exchange with some gears or maybe pearls? i don't know yet.. Then if death knights are able to defend the area, with the Death king still alive in a given time, then all Revenant's also receives rewards..
My idea for using the skills and weapons is that using one of the "broadsword" skill will create a shattering effect on the ground as it cracks and there is like a green energy from within the cracks that hits the enemy for damage.. the sub-weapon "skull of power" when used, summons skeletons, cast slow spells, where skeletal hands appear from underground, and also creates a death FOG that deals area effect damage.. the Huge LOG (Awakening Weapon) will appear from underground and rises up.. One skill for the HUGE LOG would be smashing the log on the ground to create an earthquake effect. Another one would be, letting the ground swallow the LOG to hit the enemy as it appears as an area effect at the enemies' location..

i think this character will be darker from the rest of the class, but cool. But WOW has this character name. Maybe another Class name like Overlord or DoomLord i dont know :)

This is a great idea. They could also change the Dark Knight's name, as until today, I still cannot see why the Dark Knight is a Dark Knight.
