anyone have ideas about a homebased job that's good enough to pay the bills and buy few pearls from PA? :) Im serious bout this
Greetings.
I don't know if I'm in any position to say this because I'm currently unemployed (going full-time Law School), but I can, however, say some examples:
I know a couple of friends who are freelancers that are home-based. They range from graphics designing, programming, some are freelance writers while some have a job on the internet cafes where they play BDO while they work.
Long story short... freelancing...?
it also depends on what you are proficient at. i have a couple of friends (they are a husband and wife) who are good with search engine optimisation and digital marketing and they basically offer B2B for such services. however they do run it as a company while employing other employees too, so it is only partially home-based, and they still have to do sales calls and run through their client profiles
Hi Kris, once you've done Freelancing, you will realize that it will actually take up more of your time compared to working in an office. I have tried both, and Freelancing has a tendency to be addicting in a sense that your output directly affects your pay, and you will notice that the more effort you put, the more money you make, does making it very lucrative. Unlike in the office setting, it is output based as well, but generally it is time based. You can come to work from 9 to 5 and not have anything to do, yet still get paid. It's not the best, but just comparing freelancing vs being an employee.
It all depends on your skills and what interest you the most. I can't just tell you to be a freelance motion graphic artist or animator.
But here's the thing, being a homebased freelancer or entrepeneur will consume your time even more than just regular office job. I'm a freelancer and work at home. When there's work, I will be crazy busy and won't have time to play anything. No work hour, phone call will come anytime (even when sleeping).
Basically your work hour will be RNG. Even your salary will be RNG, I even haven't got payed from last months work. But yeah, the pay is a bit bigger than regular office job. That is if you can maintain to have work every month. And you have to safe the money you got from last job to be somekind of precaution for if you don't get work call in the next months.
