Good day. My name is Kuurotsuki - a lifeskiller in the world of BDO and BDO SEA Supporter.

This guide aims to provide a sample progression guide for gathering and potential costs for lifeskill gear. Please note that this guide will only cover suggested gear combinations - Loggia, Geranoa, and Manos.

Disclaimer: This is only a recommendation. Please feel free to mix and match as you please.

Gathering is one of the highest income lifeskill there is and is a recommended daily activity for starting lifeskillers. I personally follow a Gather -> Grind -> Gather regime to take advantage of high silver income from these activities. Let's take a look at some gear combinations for gathering and the cost related to it given the current market price. Gear simulated via https://bdoplanner.com. Lifeskill level based on my experience on what is the recommended lifeskill level matches the gear.

600 or below mastery:

Magic Butcher Knife / Magic Fluid Collector

Cost: 1.24M Silver / 70k Silver

Silver/Mastery: N/A

Notes: Magic butcher knife / Magic fluid collector or any other magic tool is a good beginner tool to test the waters for gathering. The tool is non-repairable however hence the need to bring multiple copies per trip. Magic butcher knife disables mastery and gather yields is similar to 650 mastery.

Notes: WAIT A MINUTE. Where's 1500 1750 Etc? Why skip to 2000? Going from 1250 and above is just a matter of preference or choice in practicality. I wanted to show what 2000 mastery looks like and the costs associated with it at the current time. The amount of time it takes to recover the investment in terms of gear for higher mastery than 1415 (Guru 1 with the previous set up) with the difference in yield is going to take hundreds of hours. For context, each gathering bracket will only be an average yield of 7M - 15M per hour versus the previous bracket as the growth is linear.

I also did not mention Geranoa Accessories in the final bracket as the availability is very low / supply is nonexistent.
