Hi All,

I wish to highlight this to everyone that I was being wrongfully banned for no good reason after the New Macro Detection Program was introduced.

1. I have sent 3 tickets to PA asking for the exact reasons for the ban and all they replied was generic answers "restriction of your account due to a violation of the Black Desert Operational Policy (Client Manipulation, Use of Illegal Programs, and Macros)." Even though they mentioned "measure was not taken lightly and was only performed after an extensive investigation was conducted" but UNABLE to provide the actual detailed reason for the ban? (something is fishy here.)

2. Since they didn't reply to me, I suspected it was my keyboard malfunction because at times even though I pushed a single button it will become double/triple tap at times. sometimes will keep spamming keys like Shift+Arrow directional buttons, F5 or R without my notice until I surf the web, open notepad, or chatbox. 3. I manage to record down the keyboard malfunction to PA and they just replied "Regarding the nature of your appeal, please feel free to send us any other additional information that may help us investigate further." What else do you want? you should let me know so I can cooperate.

4. Grew out of frustration I literally destroyed my $300 keyboard (Logitech G910), not $30. Who in the right mind will do that? (you can understand how frustrated I was for being accused of something which I did not do and was wrongfully banned.)

Also, I do not expect PA to compensate me for the keyboard if I was wrongfully banned. but at least investigate this case carefully and hopefully, the management team can look into this as well.

They really don't have any goodwill for their customers...

After introducing the new macro detection program, they suddenly changed the ban process of instead of a one day suspension to a perma ban without informing the users prior, how is that fair?

If they are so quick to ban accounts, the least they could do is act just as quickly to justify the actions towards wrongful bans. Such a shame.

Yeah it's pretty disappointing when they choose to give you a canned response like a bot instead of actually looking into the issue. Even worse that they refused to reveal what was the actual offence.

If it is regarding macros (as suspected to be caused by your keyboard), back in August I recall it was an auto disconnection followed by more severe punishment if repeated. They basically just decided to shit over their own policy just because they developed a self-proclaimed very good tracking tool. Considering the complaints I see, it's not very good at all.

He didn't though, this is why it's troubling. If it happened to someone who didn't cheat then what is stopping PA from banning random innocents?
