Hi,

I'm a casual player and I do not own any boss gears at the moment my best gear is a TET tuvala gear and currently I could not finish the O'dylitta remnants story quest nor the mob klilling quest for stars end since they hit like a truck and I hit them like a pea shooter. The mediah and valencia story gears are not enough even more to survive and appreciate the story. (I did try on the location suggested by the story, by the way.)

Is there any way to do the story with only story gear sets? I hope there will be updated story gear or a lowered monster AP/DP to match the story gear (even if it only rewards 1XP when killing them) just to be able to do the story.

Thank you, also I would appreciate it if someone could also provide the minimum AP/DP required for the story mobs (not the grinding ones) of O'dylitta and Stars End.

Edit 1/19/21 : On the subject of story gear, The sandstorm off hand weapon needs improvement since it is very inferior to a naru gear. Sandstorm Weapon is a yellow gear, PEN stats 21-21AP, family bound, more expensive since it will need concentrated black stones from PRI to PEN. Naru Gear Blue gear, 18-20AP and 9DP, character bound, cheaper to enhance since all materials needed is free. The max stats also for the sandstorm is very terrible since the PEN equivalent to a +15 green pure AP off hand.

I play the game to do quests too. Not much of a grinder or lifeskiller, but questing is the most enjoyable activity for me.

I was like that too. Couldn't even do kamasylvia properly cuz manshaum kept killing me. And there was no season or tuvala. Not even proper gears and accessories from main quests rewards like we currently have now.

What I did, I kept progressing my gears. Even tho it was slower than other players but eventually I reached the gear score that needed for the next main quests. If you only have one main character, than your gear progression will be a lot faster than me..

My gear progression is for the next main quest and i can't rely on only quest gears. So, my suggestion to you, keep progressing your gear. Get full pen tuvala for starter and do some activities that will give you enough fund to progress further. If you're lazy to do that, you can always ask for leech to someone who grind at Star's End, Thornwood, or Tunkuta and tell him/her that you need to clear a quest...

Right now I'm dirt poor from enhancing and being assassinated by players who take offense for passing near their grinding spot as you try to sell trade items to the farthest towns to earn silver or just do story quests then they yell "spot" after killing you. So it may take a while not really hopeful that I can do the story this year, since a full pen tuvala is still a peashooter for 250+AP required monsters.

grind spot is always like that. Think it like a bench at the public park. If someone already sits on it, then it's his/her seat. You have to ask permission to take the seat to the person. So, if you find someone yell "spot", then most probably that person already grind there for sometime. Either you ask permission first or find another spot if the person don't want to share it. But if you're only passing by and suddenly the person kill you, you have the right to be angry and complain to him/her. You might get new friends from this. A little tip: do trading in season server if you want a safe passage from psychopaths...

And for gear progression, just take it slowly. Full pen tuvala is just a starting point. You can find party for mirumok grind in season server. Good money and exp if you want. It's a marathon afterall, don't need to rush or you'll get bored fast...lol.
