It's about time for our Guild to be [un] officially introduced to the BDO SEA Community!

Created on 05.18.20, Amihan's Founders and Core Members are all from a now-defunct Guild way back in 2019.

It came about when my partner-in-crime Humphrey decided to return after half a year of hiatus and, together with his friend and our other ex-guildie |TheGreat|, dragged us along into his agonizing quest of guild-searching.

After 3 (was it 3? lol) unsuccessful guild hopping attempts, the four of us concluded to just create one since we never found a group that fits our quirkiness. And we haven't got a community where we can be ourselves, let our hair down, and just play the game. This is when COVID-19 hit where lockdown is implemented in our place and being bored (?) as hell, I became the unwilling sacrifice of all this hoopla. 😂

The Amihan Guild

And so, AMIHAN was born.

We agreed upon the Guild Name 'cause AMIHAN, or "Cool Breeze" is also a name of a mythological creature of Philippine Folklore, and in other myth versions meant "An Older Sister", A Seafaring name that we felt is befitting to a Guild with [all Pinoy/Pinay] sea crewmates. Although we wanted to take in International players, we decided to be PH exclusive to serve our roots, the Filipino Game Community.

We had no spectacular history. Only priceless memories. And while we reminisce the brief joyful time we spent with our previous guildies in the past year, we reached out and asked if they wanted to join our newly created Guild. Of course, they can't say no to Humphrey. It is either you quit BDO or Join the Guild. Just like the Mafia. or Bahala Na Gang [infamous Pinoy gang]. 😅 🤣

We had a Shai Creation Contest way back in 2019 where we voted for the Ms. Popular Shai in our Guild 

So from 4, now 70 members and counting, we are a large-scale Lifeskill / Casual Guild that is founded on camaraderie and friendship.

Since the Guild is founded on these trying times where sickness is looming ahead, we aimed to be positive and deflect the negativity. As our namesake implies, we are a bunch of cool-headed guys and gals! Amihan Peeps are great at getting along with others, try to approach any members! We will surely respond to every one!

Though we have a GM, an Advisor, and a couple of Officers as the usual structure of a Guild, we do not employ a hierarchy where pioneers, founders and officers are treated with a lot more respect than the new members. We are all equals that almost seemed like bro's and sis' within the guild as we encourage positive power dynamics, in a supportive and engaging playing environment. We highly discourage unnecessary flexing, trash-talks with other players, but we still have friendly, toxic banters with each other now and then. 😂

Our Guild's content is your typical Boss Hunts, Grind Party, Lifeskill Tips and Tricks, Gear Planning,  PvP Trial Practice, and Arena Battles. 

Primarily the guild is leaning on the Bartering side. It isn't a requirement but it is our bread and butter so we highly suggest them to our newbies who are interested in life skilling. We also help them with their Daily OE's 'til they have their Carracks.

For Amihan's Requirements, we don't ask for a lot.
Gears and Levels are not a problem too! Given time and effort, we believe anybody can achieve their goals with the game. We also do not prioritize specific classes, we are a Casual Guild so any class you like will do just fine! Just be yourself, know how to get along with your guildies, and treat everybody with respect. As the old adage goes "don't do unto others..."

Amihan aims to be a toxic-free, friendly community with opportunity to build bonds and friendships in and out of the game. It is like having an after-hours Guild where you can chat and banter just about everything after a long day! 🥰

Whether inland or at sea, Amihan are ready to Fight. We choose our battles wisely. 

We do not War declare on other guilds unless we have a good reason, and only me [GM] and Humphrey [Advisor] are allowed to hit that declare button. Feel free to approach and communicate with us if there are misunderstandings, we certainly address these issues and talk to settle these matters properly.

Our First Trial Node War (February 2021) We lost! But everyone's still happy! That's the Spirit! 🔥

Since we are not in the Siege/ Node war Scene yet, I believe that the unity and the belongingness that we have will make our bonds stronger once we decide to partake in the Node Wars. [Though it will be pretty taxing, tbh] 😆

Winning or Losing, it does not matter to us, we just wanted to enjoy most of the game's content and to play with everyone!

We are continually expanding and very much welcome to take in new players who wish to progress their gears without much pressure or unhealthy competition especially people who wants to play this game for a long time.
