Normally I update this guide at the start of the year, but due to busy start in 2021 irl, I put it on hold, also, I had a lot of silver saved up from 2020 enough to buy a TET Blackstar Awakening weapon (light flex there), and thus didn't feel the need to make more silver at the time.

But now, several weeks after that faithful purchase, it's time to replenish my coffers and feel comfortable for the remainder of 2021. I know it's already mid-year but as they say, better late than never. Below I share the first 5 of 10 on how I'm making silver, in no particular order.

1. Imperial Crafting Delivery: Cooking

Having reached Guru level cooking this year, I can now make Guru Imperial Crafting boxes, which makes more than when I used to make Master level boxes. A lot of people I asked said to prepare Valencia Meal, a few said O'dyllita Meal, but personally I would suggest that you prepare whichever recipe you already have the ingredients for or which ingredients are easier for you to acquire, in my case Calpheon Meal.

To check out the other boxes you can prepare, you can visit the Imperial Crafting Delivery NPC (I go to Bech in Calpheon City), and check which recipes can be packaged into an Imperial Cooking Box corresponding to your level.

NOTE: You cannot pack/carry/submit an Imperial Cooking Box that is higher than your current cooking level, only match your current level and below.

2. Participate in In-game Events

This could be hard for some people, at times even for me, especially if you have a daily routine or schedule that you follow in the game for certain times, but the way I look at it, these events were made to make the game less repetitive and more lively, also a lot of them are good ways of making a few extra silver. Just to site an example, earlier this year we've already had two fishing events, where I roughly earned around 1 billion on each, and that's just from fishing which I already regularly do.

I personally categorize events into two, Log-In Events where you just have to log in to the game, and play for a certain period of time to get rewards, and Active Events where you need to do stuff in-game. The recently concluded [Event] Get Your Golden Seals! is an example of a Log In event, and [Event] Got Milk Day? of an active one, both earned me a good amount of silver.

3. Black Spirit's Adventure

This mini-game is like free daily silver. Everyday you get 3 free dice, you roll these dice and land on the tile with a corresponding reward. Directly, you earn silver by selling the items you get on your rolls, indirectly you save silver by getting support items like scrolls and Laila's Petals. It also helps to land on dice tiles to get more rolls and complete a round of the boardgame for more and better rewards, you get the Black Spirit's Adventure Box (RNG Box) each time you complete a round.

Personally I used to save these Boxes, and open everytime I reach 100 boxes, now I'm trying something new by saving the dice rolls, and rolling every 100 dice. Watch a video of the former below, I think I got a few nice items from the boxes.

4. Join a Guild

This is an underrated way of making silver, because you do not primarily join a guild to make silver. But for whatever reason you have for joining, you still earn silver just by being in one. The first and very obvious way, is the daily wage. Everytime you log in to the game daily, you get a certain amount, which can increase depending on your stay and activities with the guild, or whatever was agreed upon when you joined. Another is by doing guild quests. When you do these quests, half of the total prize goes to you or divided among the members who did the quest depending on their contribution, the other half goes to the guild fund. These guild activities also contribute to the weekly payout you receive depending on your weekly payout agreement.

Lastly, max guild buffs. These buffs are almost always offered by every guild, unless it's a start-up guild, but who will eventually have them. You do not earn silver directly from the guild buffs, but these buffs stack with your regular combat and lifeskill buffs, and for an hour, will really help boost your silver making.

5. Scroll Runs

I never thought I'd mention this in this lifetime, or the 2+ years I've been playing Black Desert, but you actually earn more silver from doing these scroll runs. For example, the lazy old me (and busier irl) would sell Ancient Crystal Relic Shards, which when combined gives you a Summon Scroll. These shards sell for quite a price, but the demand for it is quite low, and may take a while for you to sell them at max price.

However when you combine 5 of them to get the Summon Scroll and run them, you get Memory Fragments, which do not only sell at a higher price than the shards, but is also always in demand, so it's a better and faster way of making silver. But on lazy days, or you just can't be bothered (me sometimes), just sell the shards. They will sell, patience is a virtue.

NOTE: As I have saved quite a lot of these shards (currently have 900+), and regularly get them from fishing, I'm hosting a scroll run. Required level 50 and up. Newbies preferred, but not required. Comment your Discord ID below and I will reach out to you for scheduling.

Hope these tips help you earn more silver or at least gave you an idea on how to earn more silver. It's undeniably a very important resource to enjoy more features in the game, and ultimately have fun. Watch out for Part 2 coming in July.

Aura, ancient relic requires level 50+ characters in the party. So you can't advertise "no level requirement" for this.

Don't forget payouts from the guild!

The funds gained from nodewars/siege and guild quests generally go towards payout for the members, so the more you contribute to the guild the more money you'll make too.
