'Ivar the Wizard' is the very first character created on this account since the opening of BDO SEA in 2018. This wizard has been casting fireballs and lightning since the very beginning before awakening and succession were introduced. He has fought in countless node wars and sieges across the years, defeating the various world bosses as they came out, and has ventured and explored every region as they opened. 

Ivar has always rocked the shark head helmet since the early days, making him easily recognizable during large scale fights. Team members would always look for a running shark head to receive their buffs and heals. Here are a few screenshots from the early days.

However, the use of magic comes with a cost. Ivar's greed to grow stronger caused him to experiment with the arcane that was forbidden, drawing mana from dark magic. He spent a prolonged amount of time experimenting with drawing pools of mana from the dead in Hexe's sanctuary. And over time, it drained the life source from the aspiring wizard. Imbued with dark energy, Ivar's skin now is pale like the dead, and his life removed from his eyes. In exchange, Ivar's magic has become a lot stronger and has become a reputable wizard in the order.
