Downloading/Patching game take a long time

So
I tried playing BDO again, I started downloading 8 hours ago, in the first 1 hour (until the total download reaches 35gb+ / 50gb) my download speed was normal at 7-8 MB/s, but getting here the speed got slower, even though my internet was normal. I've tried closing the launcher several times, but it still doesn't work. why is that? do I need to use a VPN?
