Catching & Taming Wild Horse For Beginners

Hello everyone, my name is Sonnico, today i wanne share some tips for beginners or newbie to catch or taming a wild horse in BDO. There is a few step to catch a horse, and i will tell you the details below. Also be noted, you can sell ur captured horse or you can use them as ur mount if u dont have any horse.

1. Capturing Rope

To catch a horse, you need a capturing rope. To buy capturing rope, you can find Stable Keeper NPC at any town, you can use feature find npc and then left click on Stable icon to show you direction to neares stable keeper.

Choose the capturing rope and right click to buy it, also you can buy multiple capturing rope at once by clicking buy multiple.

2. Lump Of Raw Sugar

Lump of Raw Sugar is used to feed a wild horse that we want to capture, to make lump of raw sugar. We need Raw Sugar and Mineral Water. You can buy theese item at the innkeeper npc on any town.

To make Lump of Raw Sugar, Press L on your keyboard to open up the processing menu, choose "Heating" and put the Raw Sugar and Mineral Water, after that click start to process them into Lump Of Raw Sugar.

3. Taming a Wild Horse

To tame a wild horse, you need to use your capturing rope that we already bought before by opening the inventory and then right click on capturing rope, or you can also put the capturing rope on your quick slot button. After that, go to near horse that we want to catch, then press left click button to capture the horse.

There will be a horse minigame like this whenever you want to come close to the wild horse that you want to catch, it's quite easy, just press space whenever you get into this minigame. You need to press spacebar repeteadly till all the red bar go into right side near the horse icon. 

4. Feeding & Registering Tamed Wild Horse

After you come to the horse, you can feed them using lump of raw sugar that we make before by pressing F5 to open your inventory near the horse. And then right click on the lump of raw sugar item, or you can make it easy by putting them into your quick slot menu. Don't forget to ride the captured horse by pressing "R" after you gave them a food to make them into your horse.

After you finish capturing the wild horse, you can register them at the nearest stable keeper. Put ur horse name on the column and click Confirm. Congratulations, now it is your horse  ! ! ! !

There is a few horse spot or horse location you can find to tame a wild horse. Im using this location below because this is the easiest for me, it is near my residence (heidel town) and also the is many wild horse that we can tame here.
