MAJOR UPDATES - Family Based Life Skills

Life Skill levels, which were previously character based, are now Family based.

With this update, every character in a Family can enjoy the effects and benefits provided by each Life Skill, which will also make certain quests a lot more convenient to complete. (Skills such as Sprint, Forest Rush, and BreezySail are now also Family based.)

 

This integration was done by adding the EXP of each Life Skill, instead of consolidating to the highest levels achieved in a Family,
which has essentially increased the level of each Life Skill for most adventurers.

 

However, there are many adventurers who have already reached Guru 50. To retain the EXP and efforts you've made so far, we've expanded Guru level to allow more EXP accumulation. While this does not provide extra effects or benefits, we are preparing ways to reward you with honor based rewards. We added the system first so that adventurers can enjoy the benefits of an integrated system as soon as possible. We will share details of the aforementioned rewards as soon as they are ready.

 

We hope this update provides improved convenience not only for those who enjoy Life Skills, but also for adventurers who are trying out Life Skills for the first time.

Life Skill levels (EXP) are now Family based.
This includes all Life Skill categories.
  • Integrated Life Skill levels to now be Family based.
Life Skill Level Integration
Life Skill EXP of each character in a Family have been integrated.
Integrated Life Skills
Gathering, Fishing, Hunting, Cooking, Alchemy, Processing, Training, Trading, Farming, Sailing, Barter
(All Life categories available to view in My Information (P))
 
Adventurers who've reached Guru 50 will not have any excess EXP deleted during the Life Skill EXP integration process.
While Guru level has been expanded from 50 to 100 to allow for the accumulation of Life Skill EXP after the Family integration, the effects or benefits of expanded levels will remain the same as Guru 50.
  • Expanded the level of each Life Skill from Guru 50 to 100.
    • Mastery increase effects for each Life Skill remains unchanged and will not change above Guru 50.
    • Effects for each Life Skill category according to level (such as the chance to not consume Energy when Gathering) are also unchanged and will not change above Guru 50.
      • You can check the effects for each Life Skill category through the description of each category under My Information (P) - Life Info.
 
If the existing system was used, Life Skill Family integration could've resulted in a drastic fall in Life Skill Fame.
To mitigate this, we've changed the calculation of Life Skill Fame to make sure you have the same stats as before.
  • Changed Life Skill Fame calculation following the Life Skill Family integration.

For example, if a character has:
11 Life Skills at Professional 1, you obtain 165 points
11 Life Skills at Guru 1, you obtain 243 points
For example, if a Family has:
11 Life Skills at Professional 1, you obtain 1,023 points
11 Life Skills at Guru 1, you obtain 2,673 points
 
  • Changed the effect of Life Skill levels reducing Command Post/Fort and annex building repair/upgrade time to be Family based following the Life Skill Family integration.
    • Repair/upgrade time reduced by Life Skill levels is as below:
Repair/Upgrade Time Decrease by Life Skill Level Example
Life Skills from Professional = Reduce 1 sec
Life Skills from Artisan = Reduce 2 sec
Life Skills from Master = Reduce 3 sec
Life Skills from Guru = Reduce 4 sec
Hunting Professional 5
Processing Artisan 7
Gathering Master 10
Fishing Guru 20
If a Family has the above,
the total reduced time for repair and upgrade will be 
1 sec + 2 sec + 3 sec + 4 sec = total 10 sec.
  • The effects of Life Skill level on reducing Command Post/Fort and annex buildings repair/upgrade time are capped at a maximum of 50% off the default total repair/upgrade time.
※ For instance, if you achieve Guru in 10 Life categories, which reduces repair/upgrade time by a total of 40 sec, the following effects are applied:
- The default upgrade time for annex buildings is 90 sec, but with the 40 sec reduction applied, it takes 50 sec to upgrade.
- The default repair time for the Command Post/Field HQ is 120 sec, but with the 40 sec reduction applied, it takes 80 sec to repair.
 The default repair time for the Strong/Sturdy Square Fort is 60 sec, but since the repair/upgrade time can only be reduced by a maximum of 50%, a 30 sec reduction (not 40 sec) is applied, taking 30 sec to repair.
- For other Forts, the default repair time is 40 sec, but since the repair/upgrade time can only be reduced by a maximum of 50%, a 20 sec reduction (not 40 sec) is applied, taking 20 sec to repair.
 
  • Changed Life Skill Leap quest to now be Family based following the Life Skill Family integration.

 

※ Shai's basic Gathering and Alchemy levels (Professional 1) will no longer be applied following the Life Skill Family integration.

- Shai's Gathering and Alchemy EXP increase effect still applies.

 


NEW & IMPROVEMENTS

CONTENTS

Guild League

  • Changed so that if you stay within the resurrection area (fog) for a certain period of time, you will be moved into the battlefield.

 


 
  • [Music Album] Load Other Instruments
  • Added the ability to load instruments from other compositions while composing.
    • Press the Load Instrument button next to Add Instrument (+) at the bottom left of the Compose/Score window to load instruments from other sheets.
      • The loaded instruments will have the same notes and play settings of the sheet that they were loaded from.
 
  • Improved Save/Temporary Save performance and speed for sheets with many notes.

 

  • Changed the default volume for the following instruments:
    • Beginner Guitar
    • Florchestra Acoustic Guitar, Florchestra Contrabass, Florchestra Violin
    • Marni Bass, Marnian: Wavy Planet, Marnian: Illusion Tree
※ Volumes have been adjusted to be the same as before for scores written before this update.

 

  • Fixed the issue where sometimes the play speed of different instruments became misaligned or the audio was muted after a certain period of time during performances.
 

 
  • Changed the "Lv. 61! Select a TET (IV) Blackstar Weapon!" challenge to now be visible even without fulfilling its conditions
    • However, the Challenge Reward can only be claimed after fulfilling the necessary conditions.
 
※ Complete one of the following quests to claim the challenge reward from Lv. 61.
- Mediah main quest "Apocalyptic Prophecy"
- Mountain of Eternal Winter main quest "[Everfrost] Beyond the Doors of Alyaelli"
- Land of the Morning Light main quest "[Koo Mihyun] Seungsan's Secret"

ITEM

The previously announced consolidation of some items to [Event] Reward Seal, which was scheduled for Apr 24 (Wed), has been postponed to a later update. Until this later update, you can continue to exchange any existing seals as before.

Traces, Fruits, and Essences - 2nd Simplification (Sources) 
  • Simplified the sources of Traces, Fruits, and Essences.
    • All Traces, Fruits, and Essences were changed to Trace/Fruit/Essence of Nature and sent to your Heidel storage.
    • Changed the below following the completion of the simplification of Traces, Fruits, and Essences:

Roud Sulfur Mine [Dehkia's Lantern]

  • Changed the icon for the buffs obtainable at the Roud Sulfur Mine [Dehkia's Lantern] monster zone.

Ash Forest [Dehkia's Lantern], Thornwood Forest [Dehkia's Lantern]

  • Fixed the use of Magic Lighthouse skill at Ash Forest [Dehkia's Lantern] and Thornwood Forest [Dehkia's Lantern] so that it only disappears without resetting the summon timer.
  • Fixed the issue where Barnas could be hit while invisible at Ash Forest [Dehkia's Lantern].

 


 

  • Added Hunting EXP based on your contribution upon defeating Rawr-Rawr.
 

QUEST & KNOWLEDGE

  • Improved the progression of main quests for beginner adventurers.
    • Changed the acceptance conditions for the below suggested quests to prevent their progression during main quest progression.
      • [Tool Bag] Liana's Invention: From Lv. 49, at least Gathering Apprentice 1.
      • [Manor] Crucio Domongatt's Summon: Complete the Calpheon main questline, must own a residence.
 

NPC, BACKGROUND, SOUND

  • Improved the interaction range with Kukao, who is drawing Garmoth in Garmoth's Nest.
  • Improved the cutscene in the tutorial after creating a character.


UI

  • Added a "Create Guild" button at the bottom of the Guild Recruitment window that becomes visible when pressing the Guild (G) key without being in a Guild.
    • Clicking this button provides guidance on how to create a guild, along with navigation to the nearest Guild Manager.
 
  • Fixed the description for Agris Essence displayed in the Enhancement window.
 
  • Added 1 loading screen image.

 


SYSTEM

  • Changed the feature that auto-places HP Potions in a Quick Slot when none have been set to now automatically do so from Lv. 20 instead of Lv. 10.


WEB

  • Changed parts of the Adventurer Profile UI in the official website following the Life Skill Family integration.
    • Removed Life Skill information for each character and added it to the top of Family Information.
    • Changed the Main Character setting button to the bottom right icon of the thumbnail image.
 
  • Fixed the issue where the maintenance notice at the top of the launcher did not disappear if maintenance ended while the launcher was opened.
 

CHANGES & FIXES

  • Fixed the placement of Harpy Eggs at certain location on Karanda Ridge to be more natural.
  • Fixed the appearance of the [Manor] Cypress Tree placed in the Manor to look more natural at certain Display Quality settings.
  • Fixed the issue where Combat and Life quest types displayed Korean text in the Guild Missions tab.
  • Fixed the issue where the NPC Dawa at Wind Nol's Perch appeared abnormal.
  • Fixed certain outfits to appear more natural under the following circumstances.
    • [Dark Knight, Kunoichi, Witch] Wearing the Primavera Helmet with certain face customizations and/or graphics settings
    • [Witch] Wearing the Dreaming Star Robe with certain shoes
    • [Mystic] Wearing the Rose Noire Armor with the Makalu Gloves
    • [Sorceress] Wearing the Sekrah Armor with the Salanar Talisman
    • [Nova] Wearing the Oblivion Armor with the Bloody Gloves
    • [Guardian] Wearing the Lovely Bloom Armor with certain body shapes
    • [Lahn] Wearing the Campus Blossom Armor with the Campus Blossom Helmet, Oblivion Armor, and Bloody Gloves
    • [Woosa] Wearing the Campus Blossom Armor with certain body shapes
  • [Warrior] Fixed an issue where selecting the second dye slot of the Bloody Suit caused certain parts to be abnormally displayed.
  • [Dark Knight] Fixed an issue where the 3333-Day Earring was unnaturally displayed when applying certain customizations.
  • [Corsair] Fixed an issue in the Guild League where HP did not recover even when Labao was summoned after the Corsair's HP dropped below a certain level.
  • Fixed the issue where the death penalty wasn't applied properly when your Karma was below certain figures.
  • [Female Classes] Fixed the issue of the Campus Blossom Armor appearing abnormal after dying the third dye slot.
  • [Shai] Fixed the issue with your character's teeth appearing abnormal upon wearing the Taebaek Helmet.
  • Fixed the following issues for gamepad UI mode:
    • Same controls for the Crafting Guide and the Upgrade Ship buttons
    • Exchanging Lightstones wouldn't display the confirmation window
  • Changed the name of the "150 Pearls Spent My Way" item to "Special Adventure Support Box."
    • The item description has been changed accordingly.
  • Fixed the text for the following items and quests:
    • Description of Merindora's Element
    • Description of Yolunakea: Salunia Chest
    • Description of Barter Support Box III
    • Description of Imperial Trace Box
    • Dialog during the Elixir of Frenzy Ingredient #3 quest
    • Knowledge Description for Elixir of Fond Memories
    • Acceptance dialog for the quest "[Alchemy] Friend to a Busy Alchemist"
  • Fixed the issue where you could not turn with the mouse after passing a checkpoint while using the RMB button to move during the Old Moon Grand Prix.
  • [Woosa, Maegu] Fixed the issue where the appearance of the Florchestra Drum Set was different from other classes during performances.
  • Fixed the issue where certain classes were unable to dye Tiger Spirit.
    • Removed the description that indicated it could not be dyed.
